ok first i have asus rog swift as monitor and i enjoy playing games on it but i have 4k tv 65 inch Sony XBR65X900A ofc i have 4k gaming PC and i want to enjoy some 4k gaming at the best pic with less input lag on all games

is there some settings i can disable or modify on to play smooth game play on my tv i set it on game mode but still when i play fifa 15 i feel the input lag and some other games i cant hit 60 fps so am delaying testing on them till i get another 980 ti so i can have 60 fps all the time

if there specified settings in nvidia control panel or my TV to disable or enable to eliminate input lag or get better game play experience i`d appreciate it plus when playing on my TV enabling v-sync is better or disable it ?

PC Specs

CPU 3960 I7 extreme edition ( not overclocked )
Motherboard asus rampage iv Extreme
Evga SC GTX 980 TI
power supply Evga Supernova Nex 1500
Ram 4x8gb = 32gb corsair Dominator 2400MHZ
and i have a good custom loop

Solution
Set your TV input to PC mode or game mode if available as an option.

Remove underscan/overscan if possible.

If you're still suffering from lag, refer to this website for faster responding displays.

4k is inherently slower to respond than 1080p, there's a reason you don't see fighting tournaments held with competitors using 4k monitors. 9-10ms delay with 144hz refresh is considered the current gold standard before they consider replacing their old CRTs.

how to remove under scan or over scan ? plus its on game mode there`s no pc mode only game scene from select scene option plus i have tried with v-sync off and i suffer input lag in fast paced games like fifa haven't tried another only gta v and shadow of mordor and they were pretty good actually

as you can see, it does vary from game to game.

yes but i think that doesn't for PC becuse am using my monitor asus rog swift on fifa and the game is very smooth i can understand that cuz its running on 144hz and less input lag but i tried 60hz and its still smooth also

i guess these benchmarks for consoles
