I have got a GTX 970 from Asus and I was wondering how to enable the 0dB mode. I have looked in MSI afterburner and speedfan, and whatever I do I can not seem to make the fan turn off until it reaches 65 degrees.

Solution
I'd recommend 50°C.

You can change the fan curve with MSI Afterburner, I recommend leaving the fan speed at 0% up until 50°C, and then increasing it 30% with every other 10°C.

65°C is quite a high temperature. I'm not surprised it won't allow you to keep the fan off until then.

The Strix itself is a very quiet cooler, are you sure you can't have it passive until 50° and then have the fan speed go up linearly after that?

What temperature do you recommend running idle until? And how do I set it to do so?

Nevermind I have found out how to do it, thanks!
