How to enable 5 ghz on my tp-link adapter

Hello I have a TP-LINK Archer T8E AC1750 and I am currently running 2.4 ghz band. I would like to change it to 5 ghz band. I have a TP-LINK Archer C7 Wireless AC1750 router I have both frequencies enabled but my adapter shows it at 2.4 ghz

I have installed the latest driver

Did you make sure the country for the wireless is the country you're in?

Try changing the channel for 5 ghz if it's enabled in the modem

Where do I check the country? I have tried changing the channel

This sounds similar to the TPlink adapter I'm using on this.

The WDN3200. TPlink didnt have Win10 drivers, the drivers Windows 10 installed (1511) installed drivers but it couldnt pick up the 5 ghz channel either

I had to wait for Windows 10 Anniversary to come out. The drivers for this installed and both 2.4 and 5 ghz worked
