[SOLVED] How to enable DLSS in BF5 with the Legion 7i?

Laptop specs
Processor: i9 11980HK
GPU: RTX 3080 mobile
RAM: 32 GB
Display: 2560x1600
Computer is up to date (drivers, other updates)

So yesterday I downloaded BF5, and I changed some settings. I saw that “DLSS” was disabled, I was confused why so I looked it up. Many people said it is because dlss is very specific in terms of what gpu you need + what display you need. Two workarounds I saw where 1. Optimize the game in geforce experience (but I don’t use that crap) 2. use dsr (but it would have to be a global setting, and I don’t want mimicked 4k on every game.) Are there any other known workarounds ? Or am I screwed?

it doesn't appear to be implemented yet.
there are a lot of games out there that are working on adding it through updates as time goes by.

there are many games i currently have installed where it works perfectly with my RTX 3000 and display.

The DLSS version that BF5 uses (1.x) has limitations, such as which resolutions it can use.

EDIT: According to the press release page:

DLSS is available with the following GPUs, with DXR ray tracing turned on, at the resolutions listed below:

1. 3840x2160: All RTX GPUs
2. 2560x1440: RTX 2060, 2070, and 2080
3. 1920x1080: RTX 2060 and 2070
