Hi Guys.

I built my 1st computer in over 10 years a couple of weeks ago with the Ryzen 2200g, 8gb corsair 3200mhz ram and asus tuf motherboard. Granted it's not for gaming and it's extremely fast for my needs but there is one niggle.

When I run dxdiag everything seems to be in order however the display drivers say the main display driver is basicdisplay.sys. When I went to the AMD website to install the latest drivers for the 2200G (adrenalin I believe) everything seemed to be installing fine but towards the end of installation my screen goes completely black and then a 'no signal' message flashes on the screen. What am I missing here? Do I need to enable something in the BIOS? Also the only way to get video input back is to enter windows recover by turning the computer off 3 times (windows 10) and recovering to a previous state.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Well....usually you can enable or disable the integrated graphics in the BIOS.

...but if you don't have a graphics card installed....I'm thinking you already have the integrated graphics enabled....but I would definitely check it.
