How to enable touchscreen on a non touchscreen device in Windows 10?

So I have an application on my computer that requires touchscreen or it will not work properly. Is there any way of telling Windows 10 that my monitor is touchscreen?
I'm not actually trying to make my monitor touch-enabled, I'm just trying to get Windows 10 to think that my monitor is a touchscreen

I don't think you can, the way its enabled in Win 10 is via device manager so it needs to be a physical property of the monitor before windows even gives you the choice under Human Interface Devices.
