How to enable XMP profile on ASUS ROG Strix Scar GL703GM

I'm really frustrated.
I'm having issues on a game, a common fix to the problem for many ppl is to enable xmp to make sure your memory is using the right timings.

when i go into my bios, it's so minimal, even in advance mode
there are no options for anything like i see when i google.

When i goolge how to find the xmp setting i see these expansive asus bios's, but my piece of crap bios has no options and it's frustrating me and i can't figure out where to go.

I don't need mocking or smart attitudes, I just need help understand where the xmp setting is.
I'd really appreciate any genuine, kind, help

My bios is: American Megatrends INC. ver 312 GL703VM.312
here are some screenshots of my bios:

I've tried pressing f9, does nothing.
I've tried clicking the memory square in ez-mode, does nothing.
I've checked every area in advance mode, nothing ab out memory anywhere.

I don't understand where all the options that are suppose to be in a bios, are.

Thank you very much to anyone who reads all this and tries to help

If your laptop has no XMP feature then I suggest using PnP (Plug and Play) modules.
HyperX HX426S15IB2K2/16

The PnP feature offers a range of speed and timing options to support
the widest variety of processors and chipsets. Your maximum speed will
be determined by your BIOS.

JEDEC/PnP:
DDR4-2666 CL15-17-17 @1.2V
DDR4-2400 CL14-16-16 @1.2V
DDR4-2133 CL12-14-14 @1.2V

XMP Profile #1: DDR4-2666 CL15-17-17 @1.2V

Wait, i'm confused.
What do you mean plug and play modules? You mean pay money to replace all this ram with new ram just to be able to have the option?
I'm confused. Why doesn't my bios have the option?

THank you for responding though, and thank you for any future responses!!

I have the same model computer as you and I've been trying to figure this one out as well. I was trying to add a second memory chip to enable dual channel mode, but the chip I bought would only run at DDR 2400 instead of 2666 because I needed to enable XMP.

As far as I can tell, there is no way to activate XMP on the GL703GM, unless you want to get really adventurous and try to hack your BIOS. However, one thing you can do to check your memory configuration is to download the ROG CPU-Z application. The "memory" and "SPD" tabs will tell you whether your memory is running at the advertised DDR4 2666 (1333Mhz) speed. If so, there really shouldn't be any need to activate XMP. Personally, I'm going to need to return the chip I bought and try and find a different one that has a 1333MHz option in its JEDEC timing tables. I can't risk bricking my computer with a botched hack job.

If the issue you're having with your game is just related to your system not running fast enough, one relatively easy thing I did was to replace the stock SSD with a faster PCIe drive. The drive that came with my system was a Kingston M.2, and I upgraded it to a 1TB Samsung 970 EVO drive. I saw some pretty significant performance gains with that, plus it's nice to have enough space on your SSD to install a few games and cut your load times.

I hope you're not still having this issue over 4 months later!
