How to end antivirus process

In order to enable SLI, the nvidia control panel prompts me to end certain processes, including gziface.exe, which is a process that is a part of the bitdefender antivirus software I use. The problem is that I cant figure out how to end it, short of deleting the .exe file and restarting. When i use the control panel to end the process it tells me "access denied", even though I am admin.

Open task manager press ctrl+alt+delete
Find the process, end it from there

Or, you can disable it from the startup tab in "Msconfig"

Ctrl + shift + esc, click on processes tab, find it and hit end process.

I've tried that, it says that access is denied. I assume the problem is that, as an antivirus software, it is designed to be robust. I assume i would need the windows equivalent of a SU command prompt, but i have no experience in windows command line

You could try disabling the service/process in msconfig while being in safe mode
