I'll be using it in my new system, i'll either use it to store my OS, or ill use it to store my games, because i heard that games load faster on an SSD than on an HDD.

You want that drive for the OS and applications, not just a games drive.
During the install in your new system, simply delete ALL the existing partitions on it.

How to do a CLEAN installation of Windows 10

Options:

Quick format (rewrites the MFT)

Use your drive manufacturer's utility to Secure erase the drive. (writes for every cell)

Use a 3rd party option such as EaseUs Partition Master or the Linux option Parted Magic.

No need to go through all that.
Just delete all existing partitions during the new OS install.
