How to expand RAM limit on Asrock B85 Killer?

I built my first PC a couple of months ago, and being my first time, i didn't really know the motherboard mattered, so I went with the cheapest ATX motherboard, not really looking at the options I would have. I bought two 4GB sticks of 1866 MHz RAM, not knowing I would be limited because the B85 killer only supports up to 1600 MHz RAM.

I heard somewhere that you could expand the RAM limit in the Asrock BIOS. Is this true?

Whats your issue, the speed or the amount? You could put two times 8 gig sticks in there without any problem, and running the ram at the 1600 jedec would make little difference for anything but very heavily memory intensive programs.

Look at your motherboard book (or download it), and it will tell you how to configure the RAM 1866. The system will automatically down-clock it to 1600, and here is the memory list for your board.
