Hi i was wondering if I just bought two 3.5mm extender, would I be able to increase the length? With my current keyboard it has headphone and mic extender on the cable and it's so god damn useful but I am looking for a new keyboard which probably won't.

Here is my cable at the moment:

I'm almost certain this is it: http://www.amazon.co.uk/3-5mm-Stereo-Socket-Headphone-Extension/dp/B00589PYRC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417598756&sr=8-1&keywords=Audio+Extension

Double check that your headphone's audio jack looks just like the output on this extension. I'm not that much into audio and I don't want you to run into any problems, but by the reviews you should be totally set.

If you want something cheaper (these ones are fairly high quality) look along http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Audio+Extension for an identical connector at the size you need.
Well in all seriousness I don't think there is. If nothing else will move, the cord will have to extend to fit.

A jack extension should work fine and if you are able to find one in black it should actually look alright too, just be sure that it supports the same jack input as the headphones.

EDIT: I'd avoid putting extensions on extensions, just find a long one.

Find a long what? So I should extend the main cable and then use my 2 way adapter or? Because I have had this headset for years and I love it.

Headset > Female On Extension > Male On Extension > Adapter > Audio Ports?

You'd obviously need to get an extension. One with male on one end and female on the other should do nothing more than give you some extra length.

I'm so confused. Could you dumb it down for me? 😛

Yes I need to extend my mic in 3.5mm and my line in 3.5mm to the top of the case.

There should be an extension you can buy for your 3.5mm jack (can't see this being more than a few bucks) which you can plug your headset into one end, and plug the other end of it into your adapter. Make sure that it is designed for both audio in and out, because I'm sure most are only made for audio out.

Alternatively, plug two extensions that carry only one type of audio data into your adapter if all else fails. Comprende?

So to dumb it down, buy a 3.5mm extension that supports audio in AND out then put it in the middle of the cables.

Basically.

You don't want to find you can only get your speakers or mic working. The adapters would be fairly common, I'd imagine.

One cable
Headset> Extension> Adapter> PC

Two cables
Headset> Adapter> ExtensionS > PC

Would you be able to find me the correct cable on Amazon UK? Thanks for the help by the way.
