Hey! I need to figure when my motherboard was manufacturer (made) so that I know if I'm going to have to do a BIOS update or not... The motherboard that I have is the Gigabyte A320M-S2H. How can I figure it out?

Thanks!

Says it supports.. Look on page, about 1/2 way down.

It will need F23 BIOS. If you doubt that then get active on Gigabytes forums, where Gigabyte techs sometimes hang out, and ask them if you can at least use an F10 BIOS to boot and load it.

If you've got the motherboard box, have you looked on the box data label to see if it says what BIOS it has?

EDIT added: Looking at that processor: I don't think they really care about this processor all that much. It's doubtless intended for OEM's to put into systems being built for low-end retail channel markets (Dell, Lenovo, Acer)and they will have resources to deal with any BIOS issues...

Don't look at manufacturing date to figure out what BIOS is in it as mfr's frequently (usually?) standardize on a configuration to run through the factory and are loath to change it to avoid disruption. Instead they'll take a warehouse full of boards, all with different mfg dates, and send the boards to a re-work line or even outside supplier, to update BIOS. But only if it's needed as otherwise they'll leave it to the installer to update BIOS if they want to.

That's why you should look for the sticker on the box, it will say something like "Ryzen 2000 Ready", for the most reliable way to determine if the BIOS was updated. But even then it won't be the LATEST, just one that will boot a Ryzen 2000 processor well enough to burn the latest.

Some MFR's conveniently put BIOS version and board HW revision level on the board box data label too. That's even more informative, but never try to infer anything like that from mfg. date.

For home use, it just doesn't make much sense when the 2200g processor gives over twice the performance for less than twice the cost...and it's unlocked to boot! It's $50 very well spent to just get a 2200g instead. They just don't seem to care to make sure the market knows they have boards that support it out of the box, or care even TO push boards into retail channels to support it out of the box.
