How to find the correct Flat Cable ? SATA cable Sony VAIO?

Greetings.

I have a cousin laptop which he got as a payment for a service from his old boss. Anyway, he asked me to take a look and I noticed he does not have the flat cable connecting the HDD to the motherboard.

I had an old laptop and I got the flat cable from it but it doesnt seem to fit it.

I googled and couldnt find the exact model for it. I never had to buy this before. What am I supposed to do ?
