how to fix a black screen on a latitude D630

Hi,

Have you tried maxing out the screen brightness? Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help as well in solving the issue.
- First is to try to max out the screen brightness and see if it would work.
- If these doesn't make the screen brighter, connect an external monitor and see if it would display normal.
- If the screen looks normal of the external display do try to uninstall/reinstall the graphics card driver.

- After all these and it's still the same you may need to replace the LCD itself since it's a hardware issue already.
