Solution
May be an issue with the keyboard connection to the logic board, if "6yhn" appears. The other symptoms could be several things, including the logic board. You'll have to take it to an Apple service center for diagnostic work. They can see what's wrong and tell you what the cost would be for repairs (it's out of warranty, right?).

If you don't know one near you (Apple Store), you can call Apple or look at their website for a service center near you.

Standback ............

Try pulling BIOS battery to force a reset, if has one.

Mac laptops should be taken to the Apple store if they are even remotely new. Apple will void ALL and any type of warranty or agreement you have with them if you even touch the screws on that thing.

Other than that... you need more detailed symptoms.

What does the computer do when you try to start it up? Any audible tones or beeps? Does the display come on? Does the OS seem to launch?

What else can you tell us about the computer and what specifically isn't happening when you turn it on.

It turns on slow with sceen slowly brightening. The only issue is that when I type that 6yhn pops in to what I am typing it can also all suddenly go darker and the window will become small
