Hi guys I've been dealing with this problem for a while and idk how to fix it
The problem is when insert my gpu into pci slot it fits well and boot into the windows without problem but when i install the gpu drivers no matter what version when it reaches the display driver installation the screen goes black and nothing happens and actually what's so unusual for me that when I boot into safe mod and boot back to normal mode the problem is gone but if i restart the pc after windows Logo loading The screen would be black again same thing happens when I boot into bootable USB drive that has windows in it and when it reaches to the installation interface and when i close it it restarts again the problem would be gone but if i restart or shut down the pc the problem would appear again Any solution?
My PC specs
4GB RAM DDR3
I3 2120
Gpu: R7 430 HP 2GDDR5
Psu 350w evergreen

What is the exact model of your "330w PSU"?

What drivers are you installing? Because you realize that is an OEM card and may require drivers specifically from the manufacturer.

What is the motherboard model?

What Windows version are you running?
It's actually evergreen 350w psu
Foxconn board there's a little stickier on board and the letters were H61MX V2.0 idk if it's the model
And i tried installing windows 10 and 11 but not fixed my issue and recently i tried to install this driver (radeon-software-adrenalin-2020-21.5.2-win10-64bit-legacyasics-june21-legacy) but nothing changed I've tested some 2 other drivers one was v16 and still the problem remains I also tried Driver pack online solution but still same one thing i noticed when i install gpu drivers through driver pack solution it's showing the model of card r7 430 but when i install the driver individually it shows The model of card r7 200 series
Had to mention that sometimes it fixes automatically by it self but when i restart the pc I'll face the same issue again
Like when I boot into safe mode and then restart the pc back to normal the problem would be gone same thing when i boot from bootable usb drive which has windows in it and when it reaches the windows installation interface when i close that after pc restarts the problem would be gone i know it sounds weird but it's The problem I've tried almost everything I could i wasn't able to fix it

And also one more thing that I've recoverd now I just turned on The pc and after windows logo The screen went black and I've waited a few minutes after that pc wen to sleep and when I turned it on The problem was gone

So, I think it's likely you have multiple problems here, but let's be sure.

What is your current motherboard BIOS version?

Also, check the graphics card for a sticker or decal on it somewhere that has the actual exact model of the graphics card printed on it.

That IS the model of the motherboard.

What is the model of the graphics card, exact model.

Was this a prebuilt system and if so what was the model of the whole prebuilt system?

There's a stick on my gpu and the letters are
833Y6F
P/N:15019000308
And no it wasn't prebuild system i actually got both case and gpu separately
Had to mentioned that I've actually updated my bios a few weeks ago because on the first bios version which was from 2011i wasn't even able to boot using gpu The screen would be black from the first beginning but after updating the bios i was able to boot through gpu than RN iam facing this issue and the current bios version that iam using is 2014 i suppose

Had to say i discovered another thing
When i go to bios and reset to default and the save and restart the problem would be gone but I'll get the black screen again when i restart the pc that's wired

I think you are going to need to contact HP support directly in order to determine if they have a Windows 10 or 11 compatible driver for the R7 430 OEM card. I've found several HP and AMD forum entries where AMD reps have specifically said that you need to get the OEM supplied drivers because those R7 430 cards are custom designed by and for HP and are not well supported by the vanilla drivers on the AMD website.

But I don't really think that the graphics card drivers are the only problem. The motherboard is pretty old as well, so the drivers for Windows 10/11 even just for your board are very likely generic universal drivers as well, lacking full featured support. Honestly, it's probably time to think about upgrading the hardware to something that better supports Windows 10/11 if you want to run it. And the certainly don't give you much choice these days as Windows 7 is end of life and can't easily be updated anymore, and lacks any ongoing driver support for newer hardware from manufacturers.

Actually i had an optiplex 760 previously so i updated to this rig
Because in a country where iam living pc board gpu etc they're just overpriced as hell in compare to any other countries

Yep, I understand. I work with people from all over upper Europe, the middle east, south America and even Africa, all the time, so I'm well aware of the differences in regions and what's available, and that many people have to use older hardware because newer stuff is either just plain not available or ridiculously expensive, however, that board uses the H61 chipset which was released in 2011, which means it's almost 12 years old.

12 years is an ETERNITY when it comes to PC hardware and especially when it comes to trying to find support for that 12 year old hardware from Microsoft or the original hardware manufacturer because after 3-5 years most of them are simply "Well, you're on your own now".

I think you might have better luck though if you bought a NON-OEM graphics card that was actually fully supported still by AMD or Nvidia. It doesn't have to be anything great, just a bit newer and not an OEM model. And by OEM I mean like HP, Dell, Compaq, etc.

Cards made by Nvidia, AMD, ASUS, EVGA, Gigabyte, Zotac, Powercolor, ASRock, Gainward, Galaxy/Galax, HIS, Inno3D, MSI, Palit, PNY, MSI, Sapphire, XFX or Colorful are probably a lot more likely to have direct driver support for newer OS platforms from AMD or Nvidia than any older OEM products.
