I recently revived the Asus VivoBook F510UA, 1080 display panel, when I go to display settings^Display it is at recommended settings, 1920 x 1080 resolution but it is at 125% scale, "whelp, there's my problem" i thought, so i change it to 100% well my problem is fixed, but i gained a new one everything is to small. it doesn't affect all apps, like system apps or Microsoft store apps and even Firefox and chrome are regular, but apps like steam, python and other 3rd party apps. let me explain it this way, its like opening up your laptop to a zoomed in photo that if you zoom out of it everything is too small. It may just be that some apps don't support 125% scale, but i was just curious if i could fix it, thank you.

For the apps that you're having issues with: Go to the application .exe; create a shortcut for it or open the properties of the existing shortcut; right click it and select properties; select the compatibility tab; under the settings section, select 'Override high DPI scaling behavior;' Set the scaling to be performed by 'System (Enhanced); Then use that shortcut whenever you want to open that application. I'm not 100% sure that 'System (Enhanced)' is the best selection for all applications so you might want to try just 'System.' It also might not do anything at all or create new scaling problems.
