I recently bought a computer online and it has been working just fine until today when during the normal booting of the device that a screen appeared that "no boot device available" and to either press f1 or f2. Please help the computer was recently bought so i doubt it might have been the hard drive but it could and i don't know what to do? is there a way i can fix it by myself or do i have to seek extra help from a professional.
Computers info:

Dell Optiplex GX620 Intel Pentium 4 2800 MHz 40Gig Serial ATA HDD 1024mb DDR2 Memory DVD ROM Genuine Windows XP Professional Edition.

Check at BIOS if it's recognized first, then as Area51reopened said, ensure it's in boot sequence.

If ur familiar with hardware, check underneath the hood.

Check HDD power & data cables are plugged in to the system board.
Try switching DVD's ports & cables with the HDD to rule out a possible MB issue (either port or SATA controller issues in Chipset).

& if u have another PC, swap HDDs, that's always a reliable way to isolate hardware problems.

See if that helps, let know how u make out :)
