How to fix GPU Sag?

Solution
Because not all cards lack backplates. Cards with backplates tend to not do this as much and most of the ones you see on the tech channels are probably models with backplates. The backplate is a lot more rigid than the PC board, so it will not sag.

More companies don't make them, because most people could care less if there is 1/8" of sag or not. Not everybody is OCD about it. Some are, so there are remedies. Another remedie is a vertical mount adapter.
IMHO this is pretty elegant solution.

I am working on that exact concept.

A prototype, in my system:

Screw threads, infinitely adjustable between X and Y length.
As soon as my current printer is fixed, or my new one arrives...easy printing.

Yeah, I don't mean to be picky, but they are all ugly as hell. I have a Sapphire Nitro+ 580 and it's rigid but still twists on the same corner. The 6 and 8 pin location doesn't help.

I don't have access to any kind of 3d printing. There is a company doing this, even custom designs, but again, they look awful. Just a poorly cut out piece of acrylic.

Well, vertical adapter kits eliminate the problem entirely. But that's probably too expensive too or you won't like how it looks. Get a smaller card if none of the options listed above are satisfactory. A small card will be lighter and stiffer, especially one with a backplate.

There are no tricks. Some cards are longer than others. Some aftermarket coolers are heavier than others based on that board partners designs. Some PCI slots are beefier than others, and designed to help eliminate sag with reinforced housings around the slot.

I've seen people use fishing line to hold the card up which is nearly invisible and easily edited out in photoshop as well.
