Question How to fix GPU swapping to CPU randomly when plugged in

Hello so I have an issue with my laptop where when playing intensive games like FIFA 19 my GPU does some workload and reaches almost 97% but after a while my CPU which was running at 2500mhz drops to 400mhz which causes complete stuttering when playing games. All this happens when I have the laptop plugged in.After removing the charger everything runs perfectly. I've tried changing the power plan but to no avail.It just doesn't work.By the way when the CPU dips the GPU goes to 30% or 40% utilization.Does someone know how i can fix this

My current specs are:

AMD Radeon R5 M330 2Gb VRAM
Intel hd Graphics 620
INTEL CORE I5-7200 CPU
8 GB DDR4 RAM

So it is switching to the integrated GPU when you plug in the laptop? You should be able to go into the bios and turn off the integrated GPU, I think.

You mustn't do that on a laptop as the Intel graphics is required for boot display and for the Windows shell.

This seems to be the issue cause immediately i plug in the charger the temperature goes to 87

Okay so I found the solution .Turns out my minimum processor state was set too high.Just go and troubleshoot the power plan setting and everything now works fine
