My pc build:
Processor: i5 4670k
RAM: 8gb
Graphic card: GTX 760
Psu: 650W

This game used to run well before. Now there is too much lag in visuals and audio after playing for about 5-10 mins.

Solution
Some good free tools to scan for malware with are CCleaner, HijackThis, Glary Utilities, and Malwarebytes.

Here's a site that lets you paste your HighjackThis scan log and has an easy to read analyzer. http://www.hijackthis.de/
Are you playing it at the default 30 FPS frame rate cap, or are you using the FPS tweak?

It's a fairly graphics intense game with Frostbite 3 and weather effects. I seem to recall setting the frame rate tweak to 40 instead of 60 on my 7970, because it couldn't handle 60.

I optimized it to my graphic card settings,it used to run well previously.I'm playing at the default fps ,no tweaking.

Well your GPU is not that much weaker than mine,. I would think you should at least be able to run it at 30 FPS OK. My guess is you're either not running the best driver for it or there's been some other software change that is affecting it if it was running fine before.

Have you any problems with other games, and have you done any malware checks?

I'm having this lag issue with Fifa 16 also, the game starts well and after 5 mins the lag starts.
I'm facing this with only these 2 games so far.
My nvidea driver is up to date .
I haven't checked for malware , how do I do it ?!

I cleaned all malware using the tools you mentioned.
No change in Fifa 16. The lag remains.
But on NFS rivals Im' getting a black screen on startup of the game.
I really want Fifa 16 to run well. That's the main objective.
I dont mind nfs rivals not working as I've already finished the game.

Other games requiring higher graphics than these games work pretty well. Few reviews said that nvidea and origin games didn't suit well.
Is that the problem here ??
Temperature shows about 58*C

I've tried it.
Is there any possibility for the graphic card or any hardware to have got damaged, causing this problem.
As of now the hardware seems fine, no sign of damage, is there any way to check??

You can check to see if the card is fully seated with the Pci Ex tab fully locked down, and you can check the GPU power cables plugged into it to make sure they are seated fully, as well as your HDMI or DVI cable.

As for whether it's defective, you can also run it on something like Furmark to stress test it a bit, and also check the temps via something like GPU-Z or Afterburner. Also make sure the fan is ramping up speed when it's under heavy load.

Afterburner is one of the best tools to use to check that stuff because it has an onscreen readout you can check while playing (FPS, temps, percentage of GPU usage, etc).

Everything seems to be fine. I'm presently using asus gpu tweak, should try the afterburner.
Just received an update for fifa 16 ,hope it runs after the update. I'll check and get back to you. Thanks.
