Hi there! So I just moved, and I was setting my computer up for the first time, and the computer won't post. It turns out it was a problem with the monitor. None of the inputs work. The monitor just gives me a message saying there is no input. I tried it with a few different computers and inputs, and still nothing worked. When I turn the thing on I get the Ben-Q logo and everything, and all of the image looks fine. It just doesn't receive input. Any ideas? Or do I just need to outright replace the whole thing?

Search the web for your monitor repairs and you may find general problems and common repair. Inputs would suggest the main board is bad. I believe some tuning might be associated with replacing that but they can be fairly cheap in some cases.
Getting enough power for the logo however doesn't rule out the power board. That can be visually inspected for any bulging in capacitors. This could have been from being powered off for a while but would have happened eventually.

This. A bad monitor won't prevent a computer from POSTing. If you're not hearing the startup beeps, something is wrong with the computer, not the monitor. Probably something came loose while you were moving.

The fact that the monitor is indicating no input, instead of going into power save mode suggests a problem with the computer's video card or power supply. If you still believe the monitor is at fault, borrow a friend's laptop and try plugging it into the monitor.

Failing capacitors in the monitor will prevent posting. The computer is expecting a signal from all components connected and if that signal is weak it can delay startup, sometimes indefinitely depending on the time frames associated with detection. I had this issue when starting in the morning after cold nights.

Yeah I have tried both the HDMI and DVI inputs coming from a few different computers, and nothing seems to be happening.
