[SOLVED] How to fix my GPU, Nvidia 1060 3gb

I have a Nvidia 1060 3gb. My gpu fan will go on high speed and the gpu will stop working. It is not getting hot at all. Is it gone or is there anything I can do to possibly fix this? Thank you for your time.

Im assuming the computer is not posting correct? What kind of CPU do you have?

I have an i3-6100 3.7 Ghz CPU

One thing you can try is, remove your graphics card and switch to the onboard video your CPU has and see if your computer posts. If it does not boot then the 1060 is probably not the issue.
