How to fix no operating system found

Here's one for you..., i recently lost the ability to boot. Now, with the ultimate boot cd, i see the partitions, but when i try to correct, it say no os installed. tried to install win 7 over vista and it wont let me install to any of the partitions. Says there's no room. I can delete partitions but don't know if i should??? Installing WIN 7, it says cannot find boot drivers. Stumped! Still trying, hoping for responce.

Deleting the partitions will be the way to go.

NOTE: you WILL loose all the data when you do.

Make sure you only have 1 Hard drive (AND NO USB CARD READERS) plugged in when you run through the install. this will ensure all windows files and such are on the one drive and named C:
