I have fans that need to be connected to 3 pin headers. the motherboard i have only supports 4 pin. is there a way i can fix that issue?

You should be able to just plug them into the 4 pin headers.

You can plug them in but have a look in BIOS, headers you plug them in should be set to DC control instead of PWM. control.
