how to fix preparing automatic repair on a gateway windows 8 computer

When ever i turn on my computer it gets stuck in a loop saying preparing automatic repair then a 1 second blue screen and then restarts it all

Have you tried restoring the pc back to the way it came from the factory? It should be in one of the options shown at the bottom of the screen when you turn it on.
You would need to press something like F10 while its being displayed.

Please note that this will wipe out the harddrive so be sure to have backed up anything important first.
