How to fix ps3 after full format ?

Hello,
I did a full format on my ps3 and now the hard drive does not light does not come on .. what needs to be done to get working again ?

This is a video on installing a new hard drive, but the procedure is the same after formatting. Normally after a format, the PS3 will request that the firmware be reinstalled. Start watching at around 6:32. If you aren't getting that far, something is wrong with the ps3.
