Question How to fix ram speed

System specs
-Ryzen 7 1700x
asrock x470 masters sli/ac
msi 2080S

I just got some vengeance LPX ddr4 3200mhz 2x8x2 ram and can't get it off of 1067mhz the task manager and NZXT cam says it's running that speed, I used XMP and manually changing the speed (I know nothing about overclocking or using the bios correctly)

What BIOS version are you currently on for your motherboard? Have you tried with two sticks of ram populating slots A2 and B2?

You have to go into BIOS and enable A-XMP/DOCP.

Check ram speed with CPU-Z. Task Manager is not reliable for detecting ram speed.

Remove ram from slots 1 and 3. Does xmp work then?

You are simply running into memory controller limitations with first gen Ryzen when all 4 channels are used.
