Question How to fix search box suggestions?

Hi, my computer won't suggest me anything whenever I type in the search box through Explorer or Run.

I use the Run search box often for things like regedit, services.msc etc. and every time I need to type them entirely while it would be a lot faster if it just suggested me those when I enter the search prompt. I know it does because my old computers did.

Now this is a desktop computer.

• Intel Core i5-7500 3.8 GHz
• AMD Radeon 580
• HDD 1 TB
• ASUS Motherboard B150M-A/M.2
• Windows 10 build 1902

By the way, I tweaked DisableSearchBoxSuggestions's between 0 and 1 in the registry, but nothing changed. And the same issue happens regardless Windows Search service is active or not.

This minor issue is not so bugging, but it's being going on forever and I was wondering if there was something I could do at the very least.

If DisableSearchBoxSuggestions is set to 1, that would explain not getting any suggestions. Change it back to 0 and then shutdown and re-boot.

Well no, either 0 or 1 (with reboot each time) doesn't make any difference.

Did you by any chance fully disable Cortana?
