Question How to fix that my laptop goes kind of black after a few minutes of not being used?

My laptop goes like kind of black after not being used for like 5 minutes. After that, the whole screen freezes and after a few seconds, cursor freezes too. I dont know what to do and this is happening everytime the screen goes kind of black. This is also happening for a few weeks and I dont have anything to do but to let it go back to battery 0% and it takes like 3 to 4 hours. Help!

Most likely some issue with waking up from sleep.

Quick fix: Try to edit the power settings, set the laptop for never going to sleep automatically.
Not that this won't really "solve" the issue. It will just avoid the issue from occuring.

Maybe others will be able to pitch in with better ideas if you share more info about the laptop. What brand, model, year made, components?
