How to fix window start up problem?

I am getting three errors at the same time. (Media test failure, check cable, No Bootable device-- insert boot disk and press any key and A disk read error occurred press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart). I even formatted the C drive with a boot disk and now I can not pass this error. Is my hard disk not working? Any Help Will be appreciated. Thank You

That error refers to your HDD. Did you try cleaning the SATA heads, replacing the SATA cable, plugging the HDD into a different SATA slot? Do notice any crackling noise from the HDD?

also taking your hard drive and putting it in another computer to perform a SMART test could help you see if your hard drive is failing/dead
