How to fix window startup

Whenever I start my laptop it start beep until I press any key it won't stop.then after windows loads up chkdsk pops up and then windows open. What should I do

Make and model laptop? Verify Windows 7 OS.

Laptop hardware specs?

Listen carefully to the beeps: there should be some pattern. Long and short beeps, some repeating group of long and short beeps.
