There are a few basic checks we need to do and then we can move on to more advanced fixes. Perform each check and if you need to modify a setting retry Windows Store before moving on.
1. Make sure your copy of Windows 10 is activated.
2. Make sure the time, date, time zone and country are correct.
3. Make sure you are logged into your computer with either your Microsoft account or a local account.
4. Ensure Windows Firewall is running.
5. Check the Windows Update service is running and that all your updates are current.
If all of those things are working as intended. Try this:
1. Open a CMD window as an administrator.
2. Type or paste ‘wsreset.exe’ and press Enter. This is the Windows Store reset app.
3. Allow the process to complete and retry.
Or this:
1. Type or paste ‘%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\TokenBroker\Cache’ into Windows Explorer.
2. Delete the contents of the folder.
3. Retry.
If none of these methods work, it’s time to consider resetting Windows 10.
1. Navigate to Settings, Update & Security and Recovery.
2. Click Get started under ‘Reset this PC’.
3. Select ‘Keep my files’ and click Next.
4. Click Reset and then Continue.
Your system should reset and hopefully, the 0x803f7000 error should no longer appear.
