If you recently upgraded to 8 and then these problems began, its that windows 8 does not support the non-secure connections and you must reconfigure live mail. You will probably need the assistance, or at least the secure connection info, from your mail server provider.

You may receive Error 0x800CCC00, 0x800CCCD1, 0x800CCC0D, 0x800CCC0E, 0x800CCC18 when you try to send or receive emails from Outlook, Windows live mail, Thunderbird. Windows 10 Mail app.

Method One: Credentials look up.

Please make sure your email address and password is correct by logging into Email provider’s webmail (browser)

Outlook /safe

-hold Win key and the alphabet ‘R’ together.
