Question How to force a game to use a different mouse cursor?

Hi,
I am playing a game that doesn't give an option to use system mouse or allow to change it in any way. The game is menu driven at points and it's very hard to keep track. It's a blue mouse with a darker blue/black background. I have to keep tapping CTRL to locate it (which helps).

I don't want it to change all cursors, just the ones I tell it to. Meaning just in the games I need it to change.

Note: I am legally blind, while not officially color blind, due to my vision impairment I have trouble telling some colors apart. Darker colors look black, lighter colors look white.

I would like a low system impact so as to not to interfere with the performance of the game or system.

If your game supports changing mouse cursor, then you can change it.
If it doesn't support this, then you're out of luck.

Generally this is not a common feature in games.
