How to format a hard drive with a usb device?

Hey everyone, sorry for posting so much. Anyways, i need to reformat an old hard drive so it can be used in my new computer. I threw away the windows 7 install disk away when i got my old PC back in 2009. I will admit that i am going to use a torrent, i just need a way to reformat it with the usb stick so it will do a fresh install of windows 7 on my pc.

I use Dban so often at work that I carry it on a LaCie Key drive on my key ring. Praise open source.
