How To Format?

Hello,
I am going to buy new mobo , cpu , ram for my pc . I have amd Athlon 4200+ as cpu atm and an old motherboard with 4x1 GB Ram DDR2 . So i am going to buy an i5 6600 and for mobo Gigabyte H110M S2H with 8GBR RAM 2133Mhz and i need to do a format to my HDD before the installation of the new parts and after that a clean install of windows 10 after the installation of the new parts.
