My computer has been getting slower and slower, to the point where some games I used to play are unplayable due to the lag.
I'm idling at 8 gigs not in use (out of my 16) when having just one chrome tab open, and the resource monitor. I'm sure a lot of the lag from my games comes from the fact that there's not enough memory to run the game on, so it stutters and lags. I was wondering how I could efficiently identify useless memory-eaters, and clean up my computer of every single one. I've gone through task manager and resource monitor, and nothing seems to be adding up to a whole 8 gigs, so idk what could be eating all of this memory.
