How to get air flow to the bottom hard disk rack?

1. I have a disk that is on the bottom most rack that cannot receive air flow from the front fan because the front fan it too high. Is there any way to let the bottom disk receive air flow?

2. I intend to add fan b and fan a, does fan b or fan a helps to cool disk 3?

3. Should I install the kind of hard disk fan that will attach above/below the hard disk? Any recommendations?

(note: rack above disk 1 gets very little/no air so i do not use it. i leave a blank layer between disk 1 and disk 2 for better air flow. i leave a blank layer between disk 2 and disk 3 for better air flow.)

you could lower the fan to bottom hole screws or get 2 smaller fans that wil screws in the inner hole of the front panel measure space between the 2 bottom one i will tell you the fan you need .

the hard drive in the lower bay should be fine. hard drive dont make that much heat and there lots of air space around it. use a good hard rive tool like hdtune if the drive sits around 40-50c your fine. if it sits in the mid 60-70c then look to move the fans on the front case.

If you do desire to keep it cooler so you dont have to worry you can adjust your front fan and move it down to the next set of screw holes this should not cause any problem if you make sure your wires are moved so it be placed in properly and keep your system Cool. :j

Also you do have enough room for air that it should stay cool enough but if you do feel more comfortable moving the fan then go right ahead.

If temps don't go over 50C then you are ok. I doubt it even gets to 45C. With that said, can you install a very small fan below fan b and run it off your PSU?

There is no point moving the fan down. The same thing will happen if I move the front fan down. The disk 1 will not get any air flow if I move the fan down.

you could move al of them one slot upper so they wil be in the patch of fan or get 2 smaller fan to refresh all of them .

the 80 mm fan need this space to screw in 71.5 mm or 2.81496063 inches so che the 2 inner hole on bottom and from one btoom hole to the upper of it you should be able to use 2 of them for hdd cooling . same as side panel fans screws holes .

I am asking how to make the disk 3 cooler. Please don't tell me XX degree is ok, I am just trying to make it cooler. My preference is as low as possible under 40 degrees. I am sure it will not get too cold by adding fans, at most a few degrees lower than 40 degrees.

then you could try it on the top as 1 hdd and lower the other to is spot then recheck temp if they still the same be ready to get a new hdd .

If the drive is at 40C then this is not an issue or a sense of concern. My drives are at 38C while sitting in a AC room. Also, even though there is no direct airflow the air is still going to be moved by other air disturbances in the case.
