How to get AMD Catalyst without downloading drivers?

Hello everyone,

how am I able to get the AMD Catalyst without downloading the drivers with it too? I had a massive driver mess, which I repaired, but scared to do it again. Is there any way?

Last night I updated my SATA drivers for my GA-990FXA-UD3 mobo, the chipset driver came with AMD Catalyst Control Center which seemed weird to me (this mobo doesn't have integrated graphics), thing is if you install this chipset driver on custom, you can select to only install AMD CCC.
