Question How to get analog speaker out from laptop dock with no audio-out (can I do USB-C to analog cable)?

I have a Dell WD19DCS dock for my Dell Latitude 9420.

Due to a legacy setup with KVM I like to connect the dock though KVM to my speaker. How can I acomplish this?
Can I use a simple USB-C to audio cable? will this work?

They have the option to pair via BlueTooth, why not tether them using the BT adapter on your laptop and forgo the cables?

Might be a possibility with BT. Just not sure how automatic it would be switching between computers

So, I ended up going the "classic" way, wiring audio though KVM.

I got this DAC:

It works, sound is a bit muffled and getting some skip/cracks when testing with test music. I woudl not recommend it but will do for MS teams for now.

The bigger surprise was that I had a humm on my speakers after setting this up (on any channel). So, I thought I had a ground loop issue which made re plug cables, power supply,... Even got an audio ground isolator.
It turns out the issue is my backlit Logitech K740 keyboard

It is caused by the backlit function. If I keep the light at 100% or off no noise. The keyboard dimmer is causing this..

so, yes going all digital probably would be a good idea
For now I am still trying to see if there is a fix for USB, e.g. a simple 5v-GND USB filter.
