Hi,

I have a desktop PC. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 recently. My previous Windows had 4 HDD partitions named C,D,E and F. But after I re-installing my Windows, I got only 3 Disc Drives. And those are C,D and E. But the disc drive of F which contains my personal data, is not showing on my Windows Explorer.

In this case, I went to Computer Management program and opened Disc Management to know about the partitions my Hard Disc storage. And I saw a drive that contains 40GB of data but it had no volume name like other partitions named C,D and E. And I confirmed that was my F drive. But I got no volume name of this.

I want the drive visible in my computer or windows explorer. But I do not know how to get it back without re-installing the windows again and without losing my data.

Please help me. Any help from you will be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Simon

when you go to the computer management window, you can right click on the data partition and assign a drive label to it. Computer management -> storage -> Disk Management -> right click the partiton - > change drive letter and paths -> assign a new drive label.
