[SOLVED] How to get back to the previous OS after installing Windows 10 ?

Hi, so i got a pc that was running windows xp, so i decided to install windows 10 through usb boot and click on custom: install windows only (advanced) which i pretty much have to delete every drive to install windows 10, after i did that i kinda regret because windows xp has been a part of my childhood and there are some files that i didnt back up, so is there a way to get back to the previous os?

Hi .. i have not used a program called recuva for a long time .... get it from this link
Download Recuva | Recover deleted files, free! (ccleaner.com)

I once used it to get back some word documents i had accidentally deleted
As far as i remember you have to tick the boxes of the type of files you are trying to recuva
Some will have strange names so you might need to open each one to see if it has found what you are looking for

There is no "previous" OS --- it's been obliterated by the Windows 10 format & install routine.

Any old files that Recuva finds (if any) will probably be damaged & unusable.

Why i get a new harddrive and keep thenold.....plug and play.....or the old can be external drive with your files.
