How to get better wifi strength

How can I get better wifi signal from one house to another?. We currently have an extender (located in the garage) but that doesn't seem to always reach the other end of the house. We have 2 homes(yes we own both homes, not trying to rob wifi!!) on 1 property(approx. 150' apart), rural setting, not able to bury lines. I would really appreciate any help!

If you have line of sight you could set up a point to point wireless link, Engenius or Ubiquiti have some very good kit. You would need an ethernet cable from your router to an exterior AP pointed at 2nd house, same the other end connected back to a second router in second house. Look at something like the Ubiquiti LocoM2, you would need a pair of them.

WiFi alone from one house to another is a big ask without some cabling involved to help it get there.
