Details? um, I have looked on the internet for this already but i couldn't find anything, so I have turned to asking some people for help. If there are other details you would like to know, ask. And i will try to respond ASAP.

For free, I keep hearing this OFFICE LIBRE.

Your free options are LibreOffice and OpenOffice (I currently use LibreOffice).

If you want/need actual Excel, you must buy it. It is not a free product.

If you just want a spreadsheet tool, with similar functionality, the above mentioned LibreOffice and OpenOffice.
