How to get installed os without cd

Hello,

I have Dell lappy and my CD rom was not working since couple years. I need to reinstall my OS as my CD-ROM is not working.

Can you please give an idea how to get installed OS with out CD- ROM or even partitioned.

some dells have a hidden recovery partition

usually accessed by pressing ctrl + f11 at boot up

You can use USB cd-rom to install os.
