how to get my heatsink's plastic screw to come off?

I just built a pc and when i placed the cpu heatsink the screws got stuck. I cant remove them by force because my mobo might break. Please help me remove this without damaging the mobo and heatsink.

Do you mean the default Intel cooler? if so, turn 90 degrees and it'll come out

I tried that but when i pulled it after turning, it just won't come off and i am scared of pulling it with more force because it feels like it's gking to break.
