[SOLVED] How to get my MOBO to see my USB-C hub in UEFI?

Hi everyone. I have a ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming motherboard with BIOS version 1502. I bought a KVM switch in order to swap between my laptop and my desktop whenever I need to. The KVM has USB A HID in ports and USB-C out ports so I plugged it into the USB C port on my desktop.

However, The computer always says "No keyboard detected" during boot and I can't use the keyboard or mouse to get into the UEFI. They only start working when I get to Windows. How can I get this to work?

According to the support site for your motherboard, you're pending 6 BIOS updates. I'd advise yo pay attention to any ME Firmware updates that may need performing as you work your way through the BIOS updates.

Could it have something to do with Legacy USB being enabled?

I figured it out! I used a USB-C to A cord plugged into the top right port on my motherboard and I plugged my keyboard into the USB 3 port on the KVM. It's built to be a passthrough port. Now I can get into the BIOS!
