I upgraded the cpu and motherboard from an intel i5 6500 to a ryzen 7 3700x. I have wiped my C drive and windows is up and running fine. but when I try to connect my secondary drives from the old build Windows or device manager does not detect my other drives. I am thinking it has something to do with the drivers already installed on the drives. Is there a way to remove the drives so windows can install the correct drives so I can access my data. I dont really care about software functionality on those drives.

Solution
Does the other drive show up in bios menu?

Does it appear in Windows disk management ?
No it did not show up in the bios, nor disk management, turns out the problem was that the "gaming" settings for the motherboard b 450 f Asus limited the amount of drives one could connect.
