How to get NAT 2 (PS4) in a college dorm?

Hey everyone! The LAN in my dorm has a restricted NAT which halts my ps4 gaming! Is there anything i can do without having to get my IT department to do something (they aren't very helpful). I have my router with me so maybe i could use that? Thanks in advance!

Mostly likely it will not be possible. One of the largest issues even if they did allow it is there are massive problems running multiple game consoles behind the same router even when you do control the router.

If you are willing to pay money vpn might be a solution. If you have another person that would let you use their internet connection you could build your own vpn to their house and then set the port forwarding rules to go via the vpn. Otherwise you are going to have to use one of the commercial vpn providers. You will have to search around though because you need a ip address that is not shared with other people using the VPN service. In either case you are going to need a device like a router or small pc that can act as...
